Brain Richardson
Assistant Professor of Law
Cornell Law School
 
Brian Richardson is an Assistant Professor of Law and the Jia Jonathan Zhu & Ruyin Ruby Ye Sesquicentennial Faculty Fellow at Cornell Law School. His research and teaching interests include international law, constitutional law, and criminal law.  
 
Prior to joining Cornell, Richardson was an Assistant Special Counsel for Robert S. Mueller III. He also clerked for Judge Jed S. Rakoff of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, Chief Judge Robert A. Katzmann of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and Justice Stephen G. Breyer of the Supreme Court of the United States.
 
Brian will be covering several topics relevant to international law, including his time clerking for Justice Breyer and his path that got him there, the other men/women that clerk for Supreme Court Justices, the currently “leak” controversy, important cases that are on the horizon, and the impact of newly confirmed Justice, Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Rebuilding Together Northeast Ohio - "Envisions a safe home and community for every person. From providing minor accessibility modifications for older adults to age in place, to replacing roofs for low-income homeowners in need, we aim to serve our clients and their communities in a meaningful, sustainable way."
Our After Hours meeting will be a volunteer day!

5:00 - 7:00 p.m.  Beverages and snacks will be provided.
Comfortable clothes that you don’t mind if they get dirty!  
  1. Yard clean up of a home that has had a complete bathroom modification from a tub to a walk in shower.  Homeowner is a veteran and his wife. 
  2. Assemble two wooden rocking chairs for front porch 
  3. Planting several annual flowers and bushes.
  4. Install outdoor address numbers and solar lights
  5. Install a flag pole

Calling All Golfers! 
Stan Miller Memorial Golf Outing
The Rotary Club of Cleveland will host a golf outing in memory of Stanley R. (Stan) Miller on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Coppertop Golf Course in Valley City, Ohio.
 
Stan was a long-time member of the Rotary Club of Cleveland, which he joined in 1993. Stan had a 31-year career with the telecommunications company known as Ameritech. He was Ameritech’s Vice President of External Affairs when he retired from the company in 1999. In “retirement,” Stan served for six years as the Executive Director of the Cleveland Branch of the NAACP, for two years as the Executive Director of the Neighborhood Centers Association, and on the boards and advisory committees of a wide variety of local educational, charitable, and social service organizations. Sadly, Stan Miller passed away on September 9, 2021, at the age of 73. 
 
For those who want to play in the golf outing, here are the details: 
  • $75 per person, covers greens fee, cart, lunch, and a buffet dinner.
  • 10:00 a.m. Shotgun-start scramble 
  • Box lunches served at the turn
  • Dinner will begin about 4:00 p.m. 
  • Beer and soft drinks are included with both meals
  • Get your own foursome together or we will find a group for you.
  • $25 For those only attending dinner
