Asher Rapkin
Director, Global Business Marketing
Facebook Blue and Emerging Platforms
Asher and his team look after global business to business marketing for Facebook’s blue app as well as Facebook’s emerging platforms: SparkAR, Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality. Prior to taking on this role, Asher was the Product Marketing Communications Lead for Platforms and SMB on Facebook's Global Business Marketing team.
Before coming to Facebook, Asher was the Global Head of Channel Marketing for iAd, a division of Apple, where he oversaw the verbal and visual articulation of the brand and managed the platform's PR, events, and thought leadership work. Before shifting into tech, Asher spent eight years in television, working in Integrated Marketing for Current TV, NBCUniversal and MTV. In 2018, Asher co-founded Collective Horology, a watch ethusiasts' driven company, where community and collaboration bring passionate collectors closer to the watch brands they love.
Asher is a member of the Producers Guild of America and holds a BA from Oberlin College in Theater and lives with his family in Ventura, CA.

Volunteer Days - Wednesday August 18th, Tuesday September 14th
Rebuilding Together Northeast Ohio serves low-income older adults, veterans and persons with disabilities living in Cleveland. We have partnered with them to help the homeowners in the Clark-Fulton and Brooklyn Centre neighborhoods. Porch repair, clean up in the community parks and greenspaces, and bench painting are a few of the area's in need. Please join us for our upcoming community service opportunity.
Neighborhood Step Up on Friday, August 20th. This will be on Brinsmade on the west side of Cleveland, with landscaping, address numbers and light repairs. There will also be an opportunity for porch repair and painting at the Julia De Burgo’s Art Center on the same day.

For every 1 donation, 3 lives can be saved! Need we say more? This is a great opportunity for the entire family, a friend, or colleague to join you and make a difference! Due to natural disasters and Covid - 19 the need has never been greater! If donating blood isn't possible, there are plenty of other volunteer opportunities available.
