Rotary Works!
Participate in our next Rotary Works! Thursday August 6th at 11:30 p.m. We will use Zoom breakout rooms, keeping each room to no more than 8 people. This is a great networking opportunity affording everyone to socialize in a small group setting, you will share business or personal success or failure stories, explain what a good referral is for your business and talk about what you or your business have done differently during the pandemic. This will conclude at 11:55 a.m. just in time for our regularly scheduled meeting
Call to Action
Community Service during Covid 19 Quarantine
Are you performing “Service Above Self” in your own community?
If you are, please share with the club!
During this unconventional period, when we are unable to freely gather and volunteer in the community together, we are looking for ways to connect and share in activities that our members are participating in on their own. Many of us are most likely already doing good things in our communities. If you are delivering meals, helping someone get a job, assisting at church, participating in a blood drive, or any other community outreach, please send a photo, a short summary and include the number of hours you spent doing the activity. We would like to share these on our social media sites and through our E-Newsletter. Please feel free to invite a Rotary buddy to your next activity if you feel comfortable doing so. We can continue to do good things in the community together while we are still apart.

This short documentary was filmed on the ground in India. Soren Dickens, a film maker from California traveled to Delhi with a Rotary group to film Rotarians distributing a vaccine to children in a worldwide effort to eradicate polio. The trip took the group to places such as the majestic Taj Mahal, "The Pink City", and Amer Fort, while also exposing the group to the villages where the vaccinations took place. The film has been selected to 3 film festivals so far!
