Cory Watts
Corey Watts currently serves as an Agricultural Advisor in the Office of Agricultural Policy at the Department of State, where her portfolio encompasses food security in addition to international aspects of animal health and food safety. Prior to her current position, Corey contributed her research expertise to a diverse set of food safety projects in sub-Saharan Africa and southeast Asia. She is passionate about using science-based approaches to improve food security, enhance farmer livelihoods, and grow economies while also protecting U.S. trade interests.
Corey holds a veterinary degree from Cornell University and a Masters in Public Health from the University of Georgia.

Vocational Service Committee Mentorship Program: We have partnered with the Values in Action Workforce Training program to mentor students in underserved schools and communities. The VIA Training is a 12 to 16-week soft-skills character and values training that enables students to understand the expectations of the job market, learn employability and success skills and land a well-paying job. They have several High Schools in Cleveland needing mentors: Schnee Learning Center, John Marshal, Brush, JFK, and Bedford
