We have the opportunity to volunteer the 2nd Wednesday of each month. Volunteers will be sorting and packing medical supplies and equipment that will be used in underserved communities or shipped out to global partners.

We will be volunteering the 2nd Saturday of each month. The volunteers help with greeting, checking in & out, and navigating the crowd, carrying items for those who need help, sanitizing the grocery baskets used, and stocking shelves, etc.

Executive Director, West Africa Centre for Peace Foundation

Wisdom Addo is a distinguished peacebuilder, educator, and social change agent who hails from Ghana. He serves as the Executive Director of the West Africa Centre for Peace Foundation, WACPF, a nonprofit organization focusing on empowering the youth through peace education, leadership development, human rights, and community services. He is also the Africa Director with the PeaceJam Foundation, USA, where he is a champion of Nobel Peace Laureates' values in Africa. As a Rotary Peace Fellow, Wisdom has played an essential leadership position in leading PeaceJam's activities in Africa. He founded the PeaceJam affiliate in Ghana and helped established Nigeria, Uganda, and Liberia chapters, through the Gbowee Peace Foundation for Africa, in addition to providing steady support to PeaceJam South Africa. His efforts have encouraged hundreds of thousands of young people to become changemakers in their own communities. Wisdom has conducted numerous workshops, trainings, and dialogues both locally and internationally over the years, promoting peaceful coexistence, conflict resolution, and cross-cultural understanding. His work continues to bridge divides and empower the next generation of peace leaders in West Africa, Africa and worldwide. His vision revolves around empowering youth with values, knowledge, and skills toward a more peaceful and just world. |
